Federation of Families (FOF) is a family-run organization that supports families of youth with special needs requiring behavioral health services.
Youth M.O.V.E. (YM) is a youth-run organization that advocates to support and to improve behavioral health services by promoting positive change in the system of care.
WHO WE ARE FACES is an initiative to:
transform the current system of care
promote change in the delivery of substance abuse & mental health services
promote wellness and recovery
promote stigma reduction
respect families' culture & language
respect and support family choices
focus on strengthening individualized case based in the community
promote natural supports including family, friends, faith-based organizations amongst others
This transformation will help youth and families work together with service providers to receive needed services that are in line with their culture.
OUR MISSION Our System of Care promotes wellness and recovery by emphasizing prevention, collaboration and empowerment of families so that youth can achieve their full potential and enjoy a fulfilled life.
